Energy Efficiency and Value-added Products - Bock Australia at ARBS 2008
Bock Australia was at this year’s ARBS, Ozeania’s leading
trade fair for air conditioning, refrigeration and building services, from 21 to
23 April.
In addition to solutions for alternative refrigerants such as
CO2 (R744) and ammonia (R717), Bock Australia presented products specially
customised for Oceania’s market such as the new Bock Plusbox models, complete
outdoor condensing units.
ARBS is an industry supported and managed
exhibition held every two years, alternating between Melbourne and Sydney.
All the major manufacturers, suppliers and distributors and agents involved
in HVAC & R and building services and related industries use ARBS to
showcase their products and services to important decision makers, buyers and
end users.
This year ARBS was held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre,
which provided an exciting marketplace atmosphere in which to present all the
latest products and services from over 230 national and international
exhibitors. Bock Australia participated with their own stand, introducing their
Plusbox outdoor condensing unit. Designed specifically for the Australian
market, it was a subject of great interest among visitors.
The new
series of condensing units are now available from Bock Australia. Ranging from 6
to 36 kW, they incorporate the Bock Pluscom semi-hermetic compressor. The
standard design specifications include condenser pressure control, an oil level
regulator, an oil sump heater and a fully wired electrical panel, just to name a
few features.
Phil Philips, General Manager of Bock Australia, said, “It
was a successful show for Bock.” “The interest from our customers and visitors
in our new innovation of Plusbox outdoor condensing units has been pleasing,”
added Bruce Downie. Bock is also pleased with the numerous requests for
compressor units and CO2 compressors. Since Bock started marketing compressor
units with multiple compressors engineered to customers’ requirements, the
demand has been increasing constantly. But requests for CO2 compressors are also
catching on; furthermore, the demand for environmentally friendly refrigerants
is also clearly on the rise in Oceania.
Bock Australia is already
looking forward to the next ARBS in Sydney in 2010.
