Setting the Course – Bock International Meeting 2009

Bock Kältemaschinen GmbH invited its representatives to Prague, Czech Republic under the motto "Setting the Course".

From October 9 to 11, 2009, Bock presented to over 60 representatives and subsidiaries from both home and abroad, the products and solutions with which the company is steeling itself for future challenges.

For the first time, the event was held outside of Germany in the Czech Republic capital of Prague.

"We brought our International Meeting to Prague this year for a number of reasons. First of all, we wanted to offer our visitors from all five continents an attractive supporting programme. But we also wanted to show our guests, under the motto "Setting the Course", the new Bock production facility in the Czech Republic close to Pilsen." explained Thomas Hagenlocher, sales manager responsible for stationary applications at Bock.

For most visitors, the tour of the new production facility in Stribro, close to Pilsen, ranked among the event's highlights.

On an area of over 4,500 m2 in the Czech Republic, Bock has created additional production capacities for some 50,000 compressors per year, which became necessary following the growth rate in previous years, especially in the semi-hermetic compressor sector. A production facility meeting the highest quality claims and equipped with state of the art production technology.

An attractive supporting programme rounded off the three-day event, culminating in a brewery tour and a Bohemian evening in Pilsen.

As part of this closing event, Bock honoured the most successful representatives of the previous year in three different categories.
