VAP 9.0 – Installation Version

Additional to the released online versions of our compressor selection program VAP during last year, we now offer the corresponding installable versions of the GEA Bock Software VAP 9.0 and CO2 VAP 9.0.

The installation files can be downloaded right on the bottom of this page. Please also pay attention to the notes for installation.

The standard version VAP 9.0 contains all serial compressors - semi-hermetic, open type and vehicle compressors.

With the version CO2 VAP 9.0 our compressors for the natural refrigerant CO2 (R744) can be calculated. Please pay attention to the information concerning transcritical CO2 compressors on the start screen of the software.

The VAP 9.0 has been redesigned compared to its previous version VAP 8.3. Is comes with an updated design and with an improved usability.

The functionality is similar to the previous versions to ensure an easy navigation.

In addition to the graphic redesign and the improved usability, the following extensions and changes have been made:

New compressor series of efficiency optimized compressors HG(X)34e (e-series)
New subcritical CO2 compressor type HGX12P/30-4 CO2
New compressor series for R134a: HGX5, HGX6 and HGX7 R134a (only performance data)
Display of calculated discharge end temperature
New language: Finnish
Correction of errors

Notes for installation of GEA Bock Software

VAP 9.0 and CO2-VAP 9.0:

System requirements:

Windows XP or higher
Microsoft . NET Framework 4
Min. 200 MB available on the hard disc

Steps for installation:

Save the installation file vap-setup.exe and vap-co2-setup.exe on your computer.
Start the setup via the installation file vap-setup.exe (VAP 9.0) or vap co2 setup.exe (CO2-VAP)
Follow through the installation process.

To run the VAPs the program Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is necessary. This is a free software from Microsoft and should already be installed when you use Windows 7 or Vista. If the program is not yet installed, it will be automatically downloaded and installed during the VAP installation process. Therefore an active internet connection is necessary. The time span for downloading the program .NET depends on the speed of your internet connection and can be up to 50 min.
