Compressor solutions with future potential - Bock at the IAA 2010
At the IAA, the leading trade fair for mobility, logistics and transport,
200.000 visitors and 1750 exhibitors from 43 countries met in Hanover at this
year.
With a record number of world premieres and progressive technology, the
commercial vehicles industry sets an example for a “green” future. Especially
environmental-friendly technologies were the dominating topic at the trade fair
and are trend-setting.
Bock presents at the IAA 2010 its leading program of vehicle compressors for
bus-air-conditioning and transport refrigeration. With customer-oriented
solutions for all types of drives and nearly all commercial applications, the
focus was on reliable compressor solutions for the current market trends
efficiency and future safety as well.
„The main topic at the Bock booth were semi-hermetic compressors in aluminium
design for all-electrical air-conditioners for hybrid- and trolley buses. But
also the reliability of the Bock FK-compressor series, life cycle costs
considerations for air-conditioning systems as well as alternative refrigerants
were in the centre of the visitors’ attention” explains Thomas Mall, responsible
for research and applications for mobile compressors at Bock.
With respect to the economic crisis that had a great impact on the automobile
industry, organiser, exhibitors and visitors agreed that the success of the IAA
is an important sign for a recovering economy.
At the end of the IAA, Thomas Mall concludes positively: “We were very
satisfied with the results of the trade fair. Especially the fact that a good
number of presented busses at the trade fair have Bock compressors inside them
is a proof for the good quality of our products and customer satisfaction.”
Bock is already looking forward to the 64th edition of the IAA commercial
vehicles that will take place from 20 - 27 September 2012 in Hannover.
