At this year’s Innotrans, compressor manufacturer Bock presents
industry-oriented solutions for all railway applications and one-of-a-kind
technology for electrical and diesel driven trains.
From 21.-24. September 2010, it’s all about transport technology at the
Innotrans in Berlin. Every two years one of the biggest transport trade fairs of
the world offers a professional platform for all important manufactures from
passenger and freight transport technology. With its focus on Railway Technology
the Innotrans has developed into one of the leading international trade fairs in
the industry.
About 88.000 national and international visitors and 2.000 exhibitors from 41
countries are expected and will discuss and talk about latest news of passenger
and freight transport technology in Berlin.
Bock has been involved in the area of railway air-conditioning for years and
celebrated its premiere at the Innotrans two years ago. For the first time Bock
presented its solutions for the railway industry and a version of its
semi-hermetic compressors of the Pluscom series that was especially designed for
this range of application.
With the second participation at the Innotrans after 2008, the compressor
manufacturer presents this year system-oriented solutions and new products that
are especially designed for the demand of the railway industry.
For use on tracks, Bock has developed in the last years special compressors
for future-oriented air-conditioning systems. And in more than one respect:
- One example is the HG34P model version with an extremely powerful 2-pole
drive motor. Operating at 2,900 instead of 1,450 rpm, it delivers an
unprecedented performance for its size. At the Innotrans Bock now also
presents this compressor for 60 Hz.
- Especially for the demands in countries with high ambient temperatures
Bock presents at the Innotrans a compressor variant for the refrigerant R407C
for condensation temperatures of up to 70°C, which corresponds to high
pressures of up to 35 bar.
- With the semi-hermetic HG-compressors in aluminium version Bock offers
compressors especially designed for mobile applications, which, thanks to
their lightweight aluminium design, save around 40% in weight compared to a
standard compressor of the same size.
- With the RKX model, Bock offers probably the most compact compressor for
the use in transcritical CO2 air-conditioning systems. Numerous customers
already use it in the prototypes of tomorrow's air-conditioning
systems.
- Also in the area of diesel-driven trains Bock has made a name of itself
and already cooperates for some years with manufacturers such as Bombardier,
Siemens, Alstom and Stadler. Compressors of the FK-series have proved to be of
value for the area of bus air-conditioning and refrigeration and also offer
the best advantages for diesel-driven trains.
Because of this wide range of possibilities for different applications, the
trade fair in Berlin is a great chance to find out more about industry-oriented
and individually tailored solutions, latest trends and products.
Bock is looking forward to your visit at this year’s Innotrans in Berlin. You
will find us in hall 3.1 stand 213B.
