Together into the future - Bock becomes part of the GEA-Group Aktiengesellschaft
The segment Refrigeration Technologies of the GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft
has acquired the company Bock Kältemaschinen GmbH. The family-owned company
finds in GEA a strong partner for future challenges.

future“, says Heinrich Reuß, Manager of Bock Kältemaschinen GmbH. „As a part of
the GEA group our company gets new chances for growth. With the future parent
company GEA, we can enter the market in the area of industrial refrigeration and
strengthen our position in the global growth markets”.
Bock has currently 340 employees and expects a turnover of more than 60
million Euro in 2010. Besides the main factory and main quarters in
Frickenhausen, the company has smaller assembly sites at its subsidiaries in the
Czech Republic, India and China.
The transaction remains subject to approval by the anti-trust
authorities.
GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft is one of the largest system providers for food
and energy processes with about EUR 4.4 billion revenue in 2009. As an
internationally operating technology group, the company focuses on process
technology and components for demanding production processes in various end
markets. The group gains about 70 percent of its revenue in the long-term
growing food and energy industries. The company's workforce comprised over
