Into the future with environmental-friendly technology

At the Mostra Convegno 2010 in Milano, March 23 to 27, environmental-friendly technologies were in the centre of attention.

The 37 edition of the Mostra Convegno Expocomfort ended with a record of more than 150.000 visitors, and therefore proved to be one of the leading trade fairs of its kind.

Bock was once again present with a booth at the MCE. “The international group of visitors mostly from Mediterranean countries and Eastern Europe makes the Mostra Convegno so important for compressor manufacturers” says Bock Sales Manager Thomas Hagenlocher.

In the centre of attention at the Bock booth were environmental-friendly solutions through the use of natural refrigerants such as CO or hydrocarbons as well as the Bock Plug & Play 2 solution for variable speed control using frequency converter technology – the EFC System.

Already in 2004 Bock mounted for the first time a frequency converter directly on a compressor, wired and connected ready for use. By now, thousands of Bock EFC-Systems are used worldwide and provide for daily energy savings of 25% and more.

“When we see at the MCE 2010 that by now also other manufacturers offer their compressors with mounted frequency converters, we know that we chose the right path with this system.
